Xiaomi, in collaboration with TCL, brings LTPO displays to a wider range of mid-range phones
The next generation of mid-range smartphones may use screens that were previously only used on flagship phones, according to a well-known tech whistleblower. Apparently Xiaomi wants its first mid-range phone to panels New CSOT equipped. The company’s panels use LTPO technology to automatically adjust the refresh rate to save battery life. LTPO technology can adjust the refresh rate between 1 and 120 Hz, and in some cases even higher, to extend battery life. Now DigitalChatStation has noted that at least one phone maker is ready to upgrade its next mid-range devices to the technology.
