The powerful Asus ROG Flow Z13 tablet with the possibility of connecting to RTX 3080 was unveiled

Right now, the iPad Pro is probably the most powerful and even the most popular tablet you can buy. But at CES 2022, Asus unveiled the ROG Flow Z13, the company’s latest Windows tablet, which seems to offer Apple tablet-level power. However, it is expected that with the features Asus has planned for this device, ROG Flow Z13 will surpass its competitor in terms of gaming experience and compatibility with accessories.

Specifications and features of Asus ROG Flow Z13 tablet

This tablet is equipped with a 13.4-inch display and a stand. Asus will launch it with Intel’s 45-watt Core i9-12900H processor and Nvidia’s 40-watt RTX 3050 Ti graphics. This becomes even more interesting when you know that the thickness of the Z13 is only 12 mm. The Z13 is actually a high-end gaming laptop without an integrated keyboard that is very thin and comes with some other new CES 2022 trends like DDR5 RAM and PCIe 4.0 memory.

Dedicated for higher performance and graphics. Asus’s XG Mobile eGPU kit can connect RTX 3080 graphics (or the recently announced AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT) to the Z13 via the aforementioned dedicated port with a PCIe 3.0 connection. All this sounds crazy, but naturally it will cost a lot of money for buyers. ROG Flow X13 version 2021 and the XG Mobile eGPU kit costs about 3300, and now the Z13, which has slimmer dimensions and a bolder design, will cost more.

ROG Flow Z13 has a 1080p IPS touch screen with It uses 16:10 aspect ratio, 120 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color space coverage with 500 nits brightness. For better image quality, this tablet can be equipped with a 4K IPS display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 85% DCI-P3 coverage with 450 nits brightness. Both types of display have Gorilla Glass coating with Pantone approval for color accuracy. This Tabat has a detachable keyboard equipped with RGB backlight.

    ROG Flow Z13 Ports
