Nokia used to make great phones; But now impressive products cannot be found in its product portfolio. However, the said company is still doing its best to continue the business. However, thanks to the strategy of “making cheap phones”, it has grown significantly even in recent years. Now it seems that Nokia is coming back with the same plan in 2022.

Nokiapoweruser has reported that Nokia plans to launch the new Nokia X and G series 5G smartphones in the second half of 2022. The hardware power of many of these smartphones will be provided by the Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G chip. However, smartphones may benefit from a 120 Hz refresh rate. According to this report, even premium G series smartphones can offer a 120Hz display. It is predicted that the upcoming smartphone series may include the Nokia XR21, Nokia X21 and Nokia X11.

As mentioned earlier, these phones are likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G chip, which is an upgrade from the Snapdragon 480. The year 2021 is considered. The Plus variant doesn’t have much to offer except the 200MHz faster A76 cores and support for Bluetooth 5.2 vs 5.1. As long as the prices are competitive, the chip won’t be much of a problem.
