The Moto G42 renders show the design details of this phone from all angles
According to Gsmarena, a new phone from Motorola is on the way, known by the model number XT2233-2 and the code name “Hawaii+”. The phone, which will apparently be called the Moto G42, will be the successor to the 2021 G41 and a cheaper alternative to the G52 will go to the market.
In fact, the phone’s full codename is “HawaiiPlusOLED22,” which isn’t surprising since the Moto G41 and G52 both have OLED displays. More information about the said phone is still not available.
On the other hand, a whistleblower named Abhishek Yadav has shared images of the Moto G42 that show its design details. There is nothing unexpected in the image and its design is consistent with the rest of Motorola’s 2022 phones.
The Moto G42 has already received several certifications that offer a glimpse of what’s to come. According to FCC certification, Motorola’s Moto G42 will only have a 4G version. Those who prefer 5G will probably have to wait for the Moto G62, which will also be announced soon.
The Moto G42 will have dual SIM card slots with NFC support and will ship with Android 12. In addition to the FCC, it is also approved by the Wi-Fi Alliance and the EEC.
