The leaked renders announce the production of the Nokia N73 phone with a 200 megapixel camera
HMD Global announced about a month ago that it does not plan to launch a high-end or flagship phone anytime soon. However, a new report claims that HMD is working on a new flagship phone. Based on what Gizmochina writes, quoting sources in China, that the new Nokia N73 phone is under production. Earlier in 2006, Nokia had launched a mobile phone with this name on the market, which was able to gain a lot of popularity. These renders show that the top edge of the new Nokia phone is smooth and the side edges are curved. The camera island on the back panel of the Nokia N73 has a shape like the tip of a knife and hosts five cameras with dual flash. The main camera is equipped with the largest lens, and below it there are four other lenses arranged vertically.
New report claims that the Nokia N73 phone will be equipped with a 200 megapixel camera made by Samsung. Samsung introduced the 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP1 sensor with 0.64 micron pixels in 2021, however, the said sensor has not been seen in any mobile so far.
This sensor uses the new ChameleonCell technology. ChameleonCell is a kind of pixel combining technology that combines pixels as 2×2 or 4×4 depending on the environment and does not combine pixels in some environments. This sensor can capture 8K video at a rate of 30 frames per second.
It is said that Motorola is also working on a smartphone with a 200-megapixel HP1 camera.
