As SamMobile writes, using Qualcomm’s flagship chip on The Galaxy Z Fold 4 isn’t really a surprise as a benchmark listing released last week suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will also be equipped with this processor.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 with model ID SM-F936U on the website Geekbench has been spotted. This model ID is specific to the US market and the benchmark results reveal some interesting information about the performance of this foldable phone.

Galaxy Z Fold 4 with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip in the single-core performance department and multi-core Geekbench scores of 1351 and 3808 respectively. This model seems to have at least 12GB of RAM. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 was also available with 12 GB of RAM.
Of course, the benchmark score does not provide any real insight into the performance of the device. Qualcomm claims that its flagship chip is 10% faster in terms of processing performance and 10% faster in terms of GPU frequency than its previous generation. The company also claims that the power consumption of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 CPU and graphics system-on-chip has improved by 30% compared to before. Thus, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 can provide the user with a smaller battery and better battery life with each charge.
