Selling more Windows tablets than Android competitors
Recently, the Telsyte Institute was able to obtain accurate sales figures for tablets in a survey conducted only on the Australian market. According to Telsyte’s statistics, Windows tablets have seen a growth in sales, but Android tablets have not been selling well, and this is a sign of the progress of Windows tablets.
Telsyte says that in 2016, Android tablet sales decreased and reached a 29% share. This has made the manufacturing companies reluctant to produce a new model of tablet.
On the other hand, Windows tablets with a combined laptop and tablet structure offer a better user experience to the audience. This application can be very useful and efficient for business and daily use.
According to published statistics, the share of Windows tablets in sales is 22% and the share of Android tablets is 29%. This statistic shows a 7% difference between Windows and Android tablets.
It is hoped that Windows tablets will be able to reach the sales of Android tablets by the end of the year. On the other hand, iOS tablets have a share of 49% and are considered the leader in a way.
