Samsung offers the Galaxy S22 series equipped with Exynos chip in fewer regions
A few days ago, Samsung announced the flagship chip Exynos 2200 (Exynos 2200) introduced itself with graphics based on the RDNA 2 architecture of AMD. The unveiling basically confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy S22 series will come in two chipsets, the Exynos 2200 and Qualcomm’s 8th generation Snapdragon.
According to GizmoChina, revealed by Dohyun Kim has leaked information that specifies in which regions the Galaxy S22 series will be available with Exynos or Snapdragon chips. According to this information, the Exynos chip is available in fewer regions compared to previous generations. Exynos versions are mainly offered in European markets. Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 versions will be available in North and South America along with East Asia, Southeast Asia (India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, etc.) and Oceania (Australia, New Zealand). West Asia and the Middle East, along with Africa, will receive a mix of Exynos and Snapdragon chips.
In a report, the performance of the Exynos 2200 in the Galaxy S22 Ultra has been tested for the first time, revealing its AnTuTu scores. This phone scored a total of 965,874 points and was able to score 1,108 points in the single-core test and 3,516 points in the multi-core section. As a reminder, the Snapdragon 8 generation one S22 Ultra scored 1,219 points in the single-core test and 3,154 points in the multi-core test. Compared to Snapdragon, the Exynos version had a weaker performance in the single-core test; But in the multi-core test, it was stronger than the Snapdragon 8 of the first generation.
Probable specifications of the Galaxy S22 Ultra
According to rumors, the Galaxy 22 Ultra has a 6.8-inch Dynamic 2X AMOLED screen with Quad HD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 1750 nits brightness. In addition, it will be run by default by One UI 4 based on Android 12 .
S22 Ultra is said to host a 40-megapixel selfie camera on the front panel, and a 108-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x zoom and OIS, and a telephoto camera on the rear panel. It includes a 10-megapixel periscope with OIS and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

Samsung’s upcoming flagship phone will come with 12.8 GB of RAM and 512/256/128 GB of storage. It will probably be powered by a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. This phone will have a dedicated port to hold the S-Pen and will apparently be available in white, black, green and burgundy (crimson) colors.
