Rumor: The specifications of Xiaomi Mi 12 are mentioned in the one-year warranty

Experience has shown that Xiaomi should not be underestimated or forgotten. While Samsung and Apple were trying to take over the US market share, Xiaomi quietly overtook Samsung to take the top spot in Europe with a market share of 25.4%.

According to PhoneArena, this Chinese brand has a huge collection of different gadgets; From robotic dogs to MicroLED smart glasses, they are all among the products of this company. Not to forget its successful smartphone business, which is now doing better than ever. Recently, a report has been published that informs about the registration of a patent by Xiaomi and claims that this product may be the future flagship of this company, namely Xiaomi Mi 12.

The patent we are talking about was filed on September 25, 2020; But it was discovered and shared by LetsGoDigital a few days ago. Specifically, the name or model number is not mentioned in it; But there are features that indicate that this patent belongs to a specific device.

If we look at the designs of this patent, we will immediately notice the curved screen and its very thin borders. The front of the phone is very similar to the Xiaomi Mi 11, with a hole on the top left to host the selfie camera.

The screen also seems to have rounded corners with a sharper curve than what was seen on the Mi 11. . More details can be seen on the back, as the mysterious device features a new primary camera layout.

The triple camera system is centered on an elongated pill-shaped bump. The main camera is at the top and there seems to be a thick ring around it; This part can be a circular LED flash.

under the camera In the main, there is a smaller circular camera, which is probably responsible for capturing ultrawide images. At the bottom, we see a rectangular section, which is probably the periscopic zoom lens; Because there are no other systems that use this particular shape of lens.

A little further down, we see what appears to be an LED flash or some sort of sensor (probably ToF). If we look at the image of this device from the side, we will notice that the main lens protrudes more than the other two.

Possible specifications of Xiaomi Mi 12

Earlier last month, a rumor surfaced online that the Mi 12 might have a 200-megapixel sensor on its main camera. This rumor was published by the well-known tech whistleblower, Digital Chat Station, and then repeated by Android Central. Another information was published by this news agency, which provided us with more details about this device. According to the leak, the sensor in question may be the newly announced Samsung ISOCELL HP1, the first to use ChameleonCell technology, which has been developed to improve low-light performance.

Xiaomi could have borrowed the second camera of this device from the Mi 11 Ultra flagship smartphone. This phone uses a 50 megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor. It looks like Xiaomi will remove the 108MP camera sensor from its flagship phones and add it to the mid-ranges.

Another Chinese source called Mydrivers has leaked some of the specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 12. According to the information provided, the Mi 12 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 895 processor, which has not even been released yet.

This leak also mentions a 200-megapixel main camera, which is in line with other rumors about this device. . Another thing that we expect to see in this device is fast charging and its new feature.

We are not sure if all the devices in the Mi 12 lineup will support this feature or if it will only be available in We will see the ultra version; But it seems that the next Xiaomi flagship will be able to charge wirelessly up to 100 watts and cable charging up to 120 watts. If this is true, it would be amazing!

The last and most important thing is that the screen of Xiaomi Mi 12 is likely to have an LTPO panel with a variable refresh rate between 1 and 120 Hz.
