New rumors about MediaTek’s upcoming mobile chips have just surfaced. According to these rumors, the possible timetable for the release of Dimension 9000 and the specifications of the smartphone that uses the Dimension 8000 chip have been revealed.

According to gizmochina, new information about Mediatek chips has been published by the reliable leaker of technology news called DigitalChat Station. He announced that the Dimension 9000 flagship processor will be released in the first half of this year. In addition, the mentioned chip will be used in two or three phone models, all of which will use 2K display. The leaker also announced that some of the new smartphones equipped with MediaTek’s flagship chips will feature dual rear cameras.
