Introducing vivo Y21G – the seventh member of the budget family with Helio G70 processor
vivo Y21G in two blue color spectrums It is offered in light and dark, and in the light version, the cross lines of the back part have created an interesting appearance for it. The dimensions of the device are 8 x 76 x 164.2 mm and it weighs 182 grams. The material of the body is plastic and apparently it absorbs fingerprints.
The screen of the Y21G, like almost all other members of the Y21 series, is a 6.51-inch LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels or HD+, which results in a slightly higher density of 270 pixels per inch. This screen, which according to Vivo covers 89% of the device, has relatively thick borders and a A waterdrop notch can be seen to accommodate the 8-megapixel selfie camera (which is also used for face recognition). As expected, the fingerprint sensor is placed on the edge of the device on the right side.
The dual cameras on the back of the device are what you’d expect from this model: a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro (for close-up photography). The aperture of the lens of the main camera is f/2.2, so it will be clear from the beginning that one should not expect much from the high performance of this camera. Type Helio G70 selected to target two cores of up to 2 GHz =”_blank” title=”ARM unveiling new architectures Cortex-A55, A75 and Mali-G72″>Cortex-A75 and six cores up to 1.7 GHz Cortex-A55 is equipped and the graphics processing in it is handled by Mali-G52 dual core. This processor is completely weaker than the Helio G35 in the main Y21, which has eight cores. It was equipped with the A53, which is quite a powerful chip, although it still can’t even be placed in the mid-range compared to today’s new processors. The RAM of the phone is 4 GB and it has 64 GB of internal memory that can be expanded (via a dedicated microSD port). The phone’s RAM memory can be increased up to 5 GB by allocating 1 GB of internal memory.
The battery of the phone is unchanged from before, a massive 5,000 mAh sample that is fed through the USB-C port with a not very powerful 18W charger. Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, headset jack and single-frequency satellite routers are some of the communication methods of this model, and in the absence of 5G, 4G LTE can be used to connect to high-speed mobile networks.
vivo Y21G since its launch with Android 12 and the user interface Funtouch OS 12 with a price of 13,990 Indian rupees (at the current exchange rate of nearly 184 dollars) will be available in this market and there is still no official news about its presentation and possible price in other markets.
