Now, after about a year, on Thursday, September 30, 2021 (October 8, 1400), Poco released a newer version of this phone with the title POCO C31 introduced. It was expected that this new phone would be an improvement over the POCO C3 – at least in a few areas – but unfortunately, the POCO C31 has not changed significantly from the previous model and apparently only a fingerprint sensor has been added to the back of the device. In the following, we have a look at the specifications and features of POCO C31.

The LCD of the phone has a diameter equal to 6.53 inches and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen resolution is HD+ and thanks to the blue light filter (with approval from TÜV Rheinland), reading mode can be activated in this phone.

This chip consists of 8 Cortex-A53 cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.3 GHz, and its graphics processor is GE8320, which, according to the manufacturer, has a frequency of 680 MHz. 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of internal memory are expected for POCO C31, which can be expanded up to 512 GB using microSD.

The front camera also has a resolution of 5 megapixels and is located in the water drop notch above the screen.

A powerful battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh provides energy to the phone. The phone charger is equipped with a 380 volt protector. Poco has not mentioned the power of the charger, but it has been mentioned that this battery will last up to 2 days in case of normal use. The number of charging cycles of this battery is 1,000 times, and according to the manufacturer’s claim, even after 2 years, it can continue to work like the first day.

Unfortunately POCO C31 with Android 10 (which is considered a relatively old version) will enter the market. Of course, the positive point is that, unlike many cheap Android phones, there are no ads in the dedicated user interface of this phone – that is, MIUI 12.
