The M1 Ultra chipset, having 114 billion transistors, is actually a combination of two M1 Max chips that are connected to each other through a connection point called UltraFusion. In this way, connecting two chipsets through an electronic interface reduces concerns related to bandwidth and delay in information processing compared to using two separate chips connected to each other through a motherboard.
