Smartphone Oppo A56 5G in Blue, purple and black colors are produced. The back part of the blue and purple models has a relatively similar design and similar light shades can be seen in them. But the black model – with a different design from the previous two models – has a matte appearance, which, according to Oppo, prevents the absorption of fingerprints. This device measures 8.4 x 75.6 x 163.8 mm and weighs about 189.5 grams.

The phone’s 6.5-inch LCD has a HD+ resolution (equivalent to 720×1600 pixels), which brings its density to 269ppi. This display covers 88.7% of the body surface and its maximum brightness is 480 nits. According to the manufacturer’s claim, this display is equipped with intelligent light reduction (in 4096 levels of accuracy) and can protect the user’s eyes by filtering harmful blue radiation. 60 Hz refresh rate and 120 Hz touch sampling rate are other specifications of this display. Needless to say, the A56 screen (according to the model) is protected by a cover of Gorilla Glass 3 or Panda MN228 glass.

Chip Dimensity 700 is intended for the processing of this phone. This 7nm chipset consists of 2 2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 cores and 6 2 GHz cores Cortex-A55 and its graphics processing unit is Mali-G57 with a frequency of 950 MHz. The A56 offers users up to 6GB of RAM (of LPDDR4x type) and 128GB of storage space (of UFS 2.1 type), which according to Opo can store up to 40,000 photos or 30 TV shows. According to the manufacturer, up to 5 GB can be added to the device’s RAM in virtual form. Also, due to the microSD support, the phone’s internal memory can be upgraded up to 1 TB.

As mentioned in the introduction, the number of rear cameras in this model has been reduced to 2 cameras: a 13 megapixel main camera (with aperture f/2.2) and a 2-megapixel depth camera (f/2.4). Night mode, panorama, professional mode, slow motion, time-lapse photography and portrait mode are among the features of the main camera. The camera can shoot normal video at 1080p at 30fps, as well as slow-motion video at 720p at 120fps (there is no electronic stabilizer or EIS). Not to mention, an 8-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.0) can also be seen in the water drop notch above the display.

The A56’s 5,000 mAh battery seems a head and neck higher than the rest of the phone’s specifications. This battery lacks fast charging technology, but according to Opo, with only 10% battery reserve (and After activating the saving mode) you can continue the conversation for another 225 minutes. It should be noted that the fingerprint sensor is placed on the edge of the phone, and in addition, face recognition is also expected for A56.

ColorOS 11.1 (based on Android 11) is installed on this phone. The A56 smartphone is a dual-SIM phone (nano type) and as mentioned, it benefits from 5G communication (in both independent and non-independent modes). Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C port, headphone jack and GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, GPS and QZSS routers are other communication options of this device.

Smartphone Oppo A56 5G is currently exclusive to the Chinese market And its pre-order has started. The price of this product is 1,599 Chinese yuan, which is almost equal to 250 dollars at the current exchange rate. The availability of this phone outside of China is not yet known.
