Introducing Narzo 10 and 10A – Realme’s low-end with a beautiful design and a flagship battery

News unit EMGblog.com: After Realme’s second attempt to unveil Its new smartphones were postponed due to the Corona epidemic, this Chinese brand finally unveiled its two new smartphones online on Monday, May 11, 2020 (May 22, 2019). These two realme devices are called Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A and are currently available only for the Indian market. It should be noted that Narzo 10 and 10A are not completely new smartphones and it can be said that only their naming and design have changed. By checking the specifications of these two phones, we can conclude that Narzo 10 is the realme 6i and Narzo 10A is the same model with three cameras realme C3.

Realme Narzo 10

The length, width and thickness of this new phone is equal to 9 x 75.4 x 164.4 mm and its weight is 199 grams. Narzo 10 was designed by the famous Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. According to realme, the back frame of the device is made with a process called “spray coating” and has been polished more than hundreds of times, resulting in a matte visual effect. This product is produced in white and green colors.

The display of the phone – which the manufacturer calls Mini-Drop – has a diameter of 6.5 inches and an aspect ratio of 20:9. This screen has HD+ resolution (equivalent to 720 x 1600 pixels) and covers 89.8% of the phone’s body. In the introduction of this product, realme has mentioned the Eye Care mode and announced Gorilla Glass 3 as the screen protector.

12nm chipset Helio G80 (Mediatek product) is located in the heart of this phone. This chip consists of 2 2 GHz processing cores (according to the architecture of Cortex-A75 processors) and 6 processing cores of 1.8 GHz (according to the architecture of Cortex-A55 processors) and according to realme, the CPU performance is improved by 35% compared to the previous model. . The graphics processing unit of this chip is Mali G52 (with a frequency of 1000 MHz), whose performance has been improved by 25%. According to realme, this has made Narzo 10 a good choice for gaming by improving image quality and more stable frame rate. Needless to say, 4 GB of RAM (of LPDDR4x type) and 128 GB of internal memory are expected in this device, which can be upgraded to another 256 GB using microSD.

The main camera in the 4-camera system on the back of the phone is a 48-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/1.8. The 8-megapixel wide-angle camera (f/2.3) with a 119-degree field of view is another member of this collection, and according to the manufacturer’s claim, its field of view is 4 times larger than normal lenses. A 2-megapixel macro camera (f/2.4) is visible on the back of the phone, thanks to which you can take pictures from a distance of 4 cm from the subject. A depth camera with an aperture of f/2.4 is the last component of this system, which realme called “B&W portrait lens” and did not specify its resolution.

The front camera – which is placed in the water drop notch above the screen – has a resolution of 16 megapixels and its aperture is f/2.0. This camera, combining all 4 pixels in 1 pixel, is an ideal option for taking selfies in low-light environments. Also, according to the manufacturer’s claim, the AI Beauty algorithm in this camera can intelligently recognize faces and apply beauty effects to them naturally.

Narzo 10’s powerful battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and can be charged quickly through the USB-C port using an 18-watt charger. According to the manufacturer, this battery lasts up to 39 days in standby mode. The battery life in different tasks is declared as follows: playing music 54.7 hours, calling 29.3 hours, playing videos from YouTube 20.6 hours, working with Instagram 19.7 hours and playing 12.3 hours.

Narzo 10 is a dual-SIM phone (Nano type) that, in addition to having two SIM card slots, also has a separate microSD slot. This smartphone does not use fifth generation communication. The fingerprint sensor is also installed on the back of the device. Phone operating system Android 10 and its skin is realme UI. One of the interesting points that realme boasts of is the tests that have been done on this device. According to the company’s claim, the Narzo 10 smartphone has successfully passed tests such as inserting and removing USB or headphones 20,000 times and dropping the phone on a surface 10,000 times.

Realme Narzo 10 smartphone will be released in India on May 18 (May 29). The price of this product is 11,999 rupees, which is approximately equal to 158 dollars at the current exchange rate.

Realme Narzo 10A

This phone is designed in dimensions of 8.95 x 75 x 164.4 mm and weighs 195 grams. Unlike the Narzo 10 – where the company’s logo was embossed in the form of a small text on the lower left – in the Narzo 10A, a large Ionic logo is engraved on the back of the device and covers almost the entire length of the body. . According to the manufacturer’s claim, Narzo 10A is resistant to water splashes. This phone will be available in white and blue colors.

In the display part, no particular change has been observed and the same 6.5-inch HD+ display with a screen-to-body ratio of 89.8% is also seen here. This screen is reinforced with a Gorilla Glass cover, although realme has not mentioned its version.

In terms of processing, the Narzo 10A is a step behind the Narzo 10. In making Narzo 10A from another Mediatek chip called Helio G70 is used, its specifications are slightly lower than Helio G80. Helio G70 consists of 2 processing cores of 2 GHz (according to Cortex-A75 processor architecture) and 6 processing cores of 1.7 GHz (according to Cortex-A55 processor architecture) and its graphics processing unit is Mali-G52. 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory are also considered for this device, which can be expanded up to 256 GB.

The camera department in the Narzo 10A has seen a noticeable drop and the number of cameras has been reduced to 3 cameras. The main camera is 12 megapixels and its 5-piece lens aperture is announced as f/1.8. Phase detection autofocus and digital zoom up to 4 times are among the features of this camera. Next to this main camera, there is a macro camera and a depth detection camera (both with a resolution of 2 megapixels). Video recording with a resolution of 1080p and a speed of 30 frames per second, as well as slow-motion video recording with a speed of 120 frames per second, are among the other capabilities of the camera set. The front camera is also 5 megapixels (f/2.4) and thanks to artificial intelligence, it supports beauty and HDR modes.

The same 5,000mAh battery is used in the Narzo 10A, except that here the battery is charged using a weaker 10W charger and through the old microUSB port. The battery life in standby mode is 30 days, 43.9 hours during calls, 25.6 hours during routing and 20.8 hours when playing movies. An interesting point is that the battery in Narzo 10A supports reverse charging, so this phone can be used as a power bank for other devices. Of course, for this, an OTG cable is needed.

Narzo 10A is not a 5G smartphone. Like Narzo 10, this phone supports two nano SIM cards and a separate slot for memory card. The headphone jack should also be added to its communication facilities. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone which, according to the manufacturer, can unlock the device in 0.27 seconds. Of course, realme is not satisfied with the fingerprint sensor in this phone and has also established the possibility of unlocking through face recognition (Face Unlock).

The operating system of the phone is Android 10 and its user interface is realme UI. Tests such as dropping 10,000 times, inserting and removing USB 10,000 times and 100,000 tests on the buttons have been conducted by realme on this phone, according to the manufacturer’s claim, Nazro 10A has successfully passed these tests. .

Realme Narzo 10A smartphone will be released in India from May 22. This product is priced at 8,499 rupees, which is about 112 dollars at the current exchange rate.
