Asus unveiled ExpertBook business laptops
Asus closed Computex 2022 by introducing two business laptops ExpertBook. Laptops that get the MIL-STD 810H certificate will be a good indication of their durability. In addition, TPM 2.0 chip support, lock port and biometric authentication systems have doubled the security of new Asus laptops.
ExpertBook B9 laptop is the lightest business laptop from Asus to date and weighs only 880 grams and the thickness of the body is Made of magnesium alloy, it also reaches 14.9 mm. Despite the low weight and thickness, there are still various ports around the device, including 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, two USB-A generation two and one ports. 3.5 mm combo jack is used.

In terms of hardware, Asus has chosen the twelfth generation Core i7-1265U processor for ExpertBook B9, which uses 10 processing cores. 32 GB LPDDR5-5200 MHz RAM and M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD storage memory with a maximum capacity of 4 TB will also be other hardware features of the new Asus business laptop. To provide the required energy for the device, the Taiwanese have used a 66 watt-hour battery, which according to the manufacturer’s claim will provide the ability to charge the device for up to 16 hours. However, the announced number is probably mixed with exaggeration.
For variety of security options, Asus has used a webcam with 720p resolution and an infrared sensor to make the Windows Hello feature available to its users. In addition, users can cover it using a plastic cover when they do not need the webcam.
Other security features include a fingerprint sensor and the possibility of ordering the device with NFC. Unfortunately, despite the variety of ports and security options, the 14-inch business laptop ExpertBook B9 can be ordered with only one screen model with 1080p resolution, 400 nits brightness and 16:9 aspect ratio.
ExpertBook laptop is expected Asus B9 will be available to those interested in the third quarter of 2022 at a price of 1,399 dollars.
But ExpertBook B9 was not the only Taiwanese business laptop and this company’s 14-inch model Another one is called ExpertBook B7 Flip. The laptop in question uses a 360-degree hinge and due to its touch screen, the user can use the laptop as a tablet. The 14-inch screen of the device will be available in two models, FHD + and QHD +, and despite the screen ratio of 16:20, the user will have more space to view more content. Asus also added pen support to ExpertBook B7 Flip, but for this you need to purchase the pen separately.

As you can see in the pictures, due to the 14-inch device, it is not possible to install the numeric part of the keyboard, but if needed, you can convert the touchpad into a numeric keyboard.
Unfortunately, ExpertBook B7 Flip Asus will be released with Intel’s 11th generation processors and there is no news of the powerful 12th generation; However, you will still have enough power to carry out heavy duty tasks. The Taiwanese have made it possible to order up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz RAM, and you can also use the massive 2 TB SSD of the device to store your data. Asus has announced that the 63 watt-hour battery of ExpertBook B7 Flip can provide the required energy for 12 hours; But still more studies will be needed to confirm this number.
