Apple’s new iPad was introduced with a price of 300 dollars and support for a smart pen

The Apple company unveiled the new iPad tablet yesterday during its special educational event. This device, designed exclusively for use in schools and by students, is Apple’s cheapest iPad, and despite supporting a pen (or as Apple says “pencil”), it costs only $300.

In terms of design, the new iPad is exactly the same as the other iPad Airs of this company and has a 9.7-inch screen, Touch ID, a secondary HD camera and an 8-megapixel camera. Mainly, it uses the A10 Fusion processor and LTE connectivity. According to Apple, this device will have 10 hours of battery life and will be available in silver, space gray and gold colors. Previously, the price of iPad tablets was reduced by Apple to $329 for the basic model, which of course only had the ability to connect via WiFi, but these devices do not support the pen. To use all the features of Apple’s special tablet for schools, you will need a pen and a special keyboard, the first of which costs $90 and the second costs $100. As a result, the final price of this tablet for users with all accessories reaches 490 dollars, which is still considered a very good price for an iPad. By introducing cheap tablets, Apple plans to gain a part of the market for dedicated school devices, which is more than 60% owned by Google and Microsoft.
