Apart from the changes made by this tablet compared to its previous generation, Surface Pro 8 has a 120 Hz screen with narrower borders, support for Thunderbolt 4 and a new keyboard that is a more suitable place for Surface. It has a Slim Pen 2.

Surface Pro 8 key features

Microsoft’s Surface Pro 8 takes almost the best features of the Surface Pro X and combines them with an Intel chip. Has set. This may be the same Surface Pro that we have been waiting for for years.

The 13-inch PixelSense display, which is now larger than the previous generation, also has a higher resolution. This display also uses Dolby Vision and Adaptive Color technology. With the screen getting bigger and the bezels getting smaller at the same time, this device now looks smaller than the Surface Pro X. However, the most important change is the tablet’s higher 120Hz refresh rate. While the refresh rate of this device is 60 Hz by default, the display will jump to 120 Hz to perform touch or pen tasks more smoothly.

Surface Pro 8 also uses the new feature of Windows 11, i.e. Dynamic Refresh Rate. This is exactly the same feature that Apple introduced for iPhone 13 called ProMotion. Microsoft has provided this feature, as mentioned earlier, for smoother operation with the pen and hand. However, a separate keyboard called the Surface Pro Signature Keyboard is also provided, which includes the Surface Slim Pen. 2 is also possible. This combination is similar to the Surface Pro X keyboard and film. This pen is charged when placed on the keyboard. The haptic engine will transfer the feeling of writing on paper to the user. In this new pen, the amount of delay is also reduced and thanks to the redesign of its tip, it is more accurate.

The internal specifications of Surface Pro 8 also have special attractions for themselves. Microsoft has finally added support for Thunderbolt 4 by removing the USB-A port. This device comes with two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports and a Surface Connect port for charging. This means that you can simultaneously connect Surface Pro 8 to 4K displays, high-speed memories and even external graphics to turn this tablet into a gaming computer.

Another improvement of this tablet is in the camera department. Its main camera has now been upgraded from 8 to 10 megapixels and can record 4K video. Its selfie camera is still 5 megapixels capable of 1080p video recording, but it is expected to perform better in low light conditions.

Surface Pro 8 with 11th generation Intel quad-core processor and 32 GB of RAM in the highest version. It will go to the market. Microsoft has not yet said anything about its price, but the pre-sale of this device has started and its sale will start from the day of the event on October 13 (the release of Windows 11).
