Dimensity 9000+ chip appeared stronger than Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in Geekbench
MediaTek just announced the Dimensity 9000 to compete with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1; A chip that, like Qualcomm’s flagship, uses TSMC’s four-nanometer lithography. Both of these chips are equipped with the main X2 core with a frequency of 3.2 GHz.
Based on what iGeek Phone writes, a comparison of the score of the new MediaTek chip with the revealed scores of the new Qualcomm chip shows Dimensity 9000+ in the single-core and multi-core sections, respectively 20 and has gained 130 more points.
- Mediatek Dimensity 9000 chip with higher frequency and better graphics than Dimensity 9000 was introduced
- Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip with higher frequency and more efficient energy consumption than the standard model was unveiled
Dimensity 9000 MediaTek chip had optimal energy consumption, and we have no doubt that the energy consumption of the Plus model will be more optimal thanks to TSMC’s four-nanometer lithography. In the Dimensity 9000+ chip, the frequency of the powerful X2 core increases from 3.05 GHz (in Dimensity 9000) to 3.2 GHz; But the frequency of the 2.85 GHz A710 cores remains intact. In addition, the four low-power A510 cores still have a frequency of 1.8 GHz. Mediatek claims to achieve five percent more processing power.
MediaTek’s flagship system-on-chip graphics unit is still the Mali-G710 with 10 cores. MediaTek says that the power of this graphics chip is up to 10% better than the Dimensity 9000 graphics chip.
Other features of the Dimensity 9000+ chip, such as LPDDR5X RAM support, HyperEngine 5.0 engine, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, remain intact compared to the normal model.
